The beer compositional standard is applicable to interprovincially traded and imported products. In some cases provincial liquor boards are using the FDR as guidelines or policy. As a result of these decisions, it is possible that some Canadian manufacturers, who do not trade any of their affected products interprovincially, may still be required to comply with the beer compositio
